A Limited Quantity Haulers Exemption has been granted to <br />Delta Blood Bank for our Stanislaus County operations. A <br />small staff of trained drivers transports the small quantity <br />of medical waste generated daily in our Modesto facility to <br />the Stockton facility for collection by BFI. This waste is <br />transported in a rigid, biohazardous-labeled container. <br />g. Containment, storage, hauling, treatment and disposal <br />are described in a written contract between Delta Blood Bank <br />and Browning-Ferris Industries (BFI Medical Waste Systems) <br />which is available for review. Documentation of all <br />collections is provided by signed receipts from BFI's <br />drivers as they collect the waste. <br />h. Applicable sections of our Biosafety Program,containing <br />procedures for handling spills, exposures, etc. are attached <br />for your review as our medical waste emergency action plan. <br />I hereby certify that to the best of my knowledge and belief that <br />the statements made herein are correct and true. <br />
