To provide Lincoln Family Medical Group personnel with an effective plan in the <br />event of fire. <br />The patient - calmly remove patient(s) in immediate danger. Close all doors <br />and windows. <br />I 6 <br />The person discovering the fire will locate the nearest alarm pull station if <br />available and pull down on the lever (see map) and signal the Fire Department. <br />Communications will call 911. A fire pull station will be available at the <br />Shoreline office only. <br />Personnel are not to pass through fire doors. Authorized personnel may pass <br />through fire doors if instructed to do so. <br />The administrator or fire marshall will give the "All Clear." Doors can be <br />opened and personnel may return to their work stations. Patients can return <br />when all danger has passed. <br />To provide Lincoln Family Medical Group with an effective plan in the event of o <br />a bomb threat. <br />PROCEDURE: <br />The Administrator/designee has the authority for implementation of the Bomb Threat <br />procedure. They will be contacted immediately. <br />A bomb threat received in writing shall be taken immediately by the person <br />receiving it to Administration. <br />tnben a bomb threat is received by telephone, the person receiving the call will: <br />1. Note exact time call is received. <br />2. Note caller's exact threat. <br />3. Prolong the conversation if possible. <br />4. Remain calm. Don't interrupt the caller. , <br />5. Be alert to background noises, ascertain emotional state of caller and make <br />judgement as to age, sex, etc. <br />6. As soon as possible, complete the Bomb Threat Checklist. <br />7. Notify the Administrator or designee: <br />Days 8 AM to 5 PM call Administrator <br />Nights 5 PM to 10 PM, weekends, holidays call Administrator or alternate. <br />8. Call the Stockton Police Department on the 911 emergency line and report the <br />bomb threat. (Use the Bomb Threat Checklist). <br />9. Evacuate the building immediately. <br />-3- <br />
