v <br />C <br />Document Number: 909 R 5003 <br />Procedure Rev: 12 Date: 1/22/13 <br />EMERGENCY RESPONSE PROCEDURES <br />Emergency Equipment for Chemical Releases <br />For Petroleum product release kits areas, please refer to figure 2 in the SPCC plan <br />Acid & Caustic Releases <br />Soda ash (for acid spills) can be found in the Hazardous Waste Storage Area, and <br />maintenance /truck shop. Additional supplies of soda ash and sand can be obtained <br />from the tank supervisor or silo operator. <br />Chlorine & Mercury Releases <br />For Chlorine release refer to ENV -KP -019 <br />A small mercury spill kit is located in the HWB. <br />Fire Protection <br />The HWB and flammable storage building are protected by a foam suppression <br />system. The propane storage tank farm has a dedicated fire suppression system. Fire <br />extinguishers are located throughout the facility. Fire hydrants are located around the <br />outside of the facility and smaller water lines within the facility.
