Trench Logs The following information will be recorded on individual trench logs. • Project name and number, • Unique trench identifier(such as"T-l")and datum, • Excavating equipment, • Date trench is excavated/backfilled, • Name of person logging and sampling the trench, • Schematic diagram of the trench excavation indicating trench orientation; length; total depth excavated; depths to strata changes; locations and depths of cover fill soils, if present,wastes,native materials/geologic formation; sample locations; and, groundwater, as applicable; • Descriptions/visual classification of subsurface materials encountered will be re- corded on individual trench logs,and include: • o USCS classification of fill/cover soils, if present,based on field observations. o General descriptions of wastes,including an estimate of the percentage of wastes relative to fill soils that may be present and primary constituents comprising the wastes (e.g.,wood,concrete,metal debris,burned wastes,etc.),and, o Lithologic descriptions of native materials/geologic formation (alluvium) en- countered. • PID and four gas meter readings will be recorded on individual trench logs. 12.3. Daily Field Reports In addition to the boring and trench logs, the following information will be recorded on a Daily Report of Field Observations to be completed each day by the field personnel. • Project team members and their responsibilities. • Visitors to the site and their arrival and departure times and information pertaining to the visit. • Deviation(s)from the work plan and rationale. • Level of health and safety protection. 104690061 R 5nelAM 33 N/Hyo u*UQrP.
