Box 388 • Stockton, CA 95201-0388 P <br /> 209/468-3420 <br /> 0 <br /> Scott Walker November 2, 1995 <br /> California Integrated <br /> Waste Management Board <br /> 8800 Cal Center Drive <br /> Sacramento, CA 95829 <br /> Re: French camp Landfill #39-AA-006/Austin Road Landfill #39- <br /> AA-0001 Green Waste Alternative Daily Cover Project <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division (EHD) received a <br /> proposal (9/30/95) from the operator of the French Camp (FCL) and <br /> Austin Road (ARL) Landfills to use shredded green waste as daily <br /> cover at both sites. A revised Green Waste Alternative Daily Cover <br /> (GWADC) plan was received on October 24, 1995. This plan meets <br /> requirements of 14 CCR, Sections 17258.21(b) , 17682 and LEA <br /> Advisory No. 19. Appropriate agency approval letters have been <br /> obtained and EHD has approved the plan. <br /> A copy of the approval letter has been forwarded to the California <br /> Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB) and the California <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board (CRWQCB) . CRWQCB has <br /> relinquished oversight responsibility for this demonstration <br /> project to EHD and the CIWMB. <br /> EHD will accept responsibility for monitoring the GWADC <br /> demonstration project in accordance with 14 CCR, Section 17683 and <br /> LEA Advisory No. 19. EHD's Monitoring Plan is attached.
