Prepare to respond to excessive rainfall. <br /> ■ Reinforce berms around the active fill area to prevent run-on. <br /> ■ If necessary, accelerate drainage of water held in the stormwater detention ponds in <br /> anticipation of high ran-off volumes. <br /> ■ Move equipment to areas were they are accessible during severe weather conditions. <br /> b. Prepare to respond to erosion. <br /> ■ Cover stockpiles with plastic and secure. <br /> ■ Cover completed landfill slopes with plastic and secure. <br /> c.
