D&E installed and seamed approximately 4,388.5ft2 of
geotextile on the eastern floor of Module 1.
Vector Engineering, Inc. CQA attended the weekly construction meeting. CQA observed placement and
grading of the LCRS drainage aggregate and operations layer material from stockpile 2. CQA observed
deployment and seaming of geocomposite and geotextile materials deployed. CQA performed density tests
on the compacted anchor trench with tests meeting the requirements for this project. Wood Bros hit the
geotextile filter fabric along the southern toe. CQA observed cleaning of the textile and drainage aggregate
down to the liner for inspection. While on a walk through CQA found an area that had some water under the
liner system. CQA notified Wood Bros, D&E and the project engineer whom notified the County of San
Joaquin. Wood Bros will open it tomorrow if it is not raining.
Vector discussed with Wood Bros CQA needs to walk the sump liner prior to installation of the cushion geotextile. Due to pending rain Wood
Bros will need to grade the roads and drainage ditches to avoid water from ponding.
File Name: Foothill Landfill Prepared By: Frank Dell -Era Reviewed B
