NOTES (Describe work completed during the day, any problems and their solutions): Wood Brothers: I I Man crew Krazan/Soil Probe: 3 Man crew Wood Bros. continued to place, moisture condition and compact foundation layer material on the northern and Middle portion of Module 1. Wood Bros. hauled material from soil borrow area A to the 4th and 5th bays off the northern slope for the 1St lift utilizing the D9 dozer and 2-631 scrapers. Wood brothers continued to utilize 2- water trucks, the D6 with disc and the tractor with scraper box to moisture condition the foundation layer material prior to compaction. Wood bros. continued to utilize the 825 to compact the lower portion with the scrapers wheel rolling the surface. Wood bros. had the D5CXL dozer, 825 compactor and a water truck moisture conditioning and processing the soil material on the slopes. Wood Bros. Grader on site grading haul roads. Wood Bros. cut a haul road down the southern slope to shorten the haul from the soil borrow area A. 0 Krazan/soil Probe drilled wells #946 and started well #10. Krazan only drilled no placement of probes or backfill occurred. Mark Edwards turned in drill logs to CQA. Vector Engineering, Inc. CQA observed placement and tested compaction of foundation layer material placed on the northern floor of Module 1. CQA performed several density tests with all tests meeting the required specifications for this project. CQA performed a sieve analysis, 2 washes and a moisture density relationship curve on foundation layer material. CQA set-up a Plasticity index. Vector discussed with Wood bros. will need to recompact where the haul road was cut on the southern slope. Krazan will drill gas wells but not install anything until the county inspector is on site.
