Groundwater samples are analyzed semiannually for the following monitoring and field <br /> parameters as specified in the VWDRs: <br /> • Temperature 0 Chloride <br /> • Electrical Conductivity 0 Sulfate <br /> • pH 0 Nitrate-Nitrogen <br /> • Turbidity 0 Calcium <br /> • Total Dissolved Solids 0 Magnesium <br /> • Potassium 0 Sodium <br /> • Carbonate Alkalinity Bicarbonate Alkalinity <br /> • Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) <br /> Groundwater samples are analyzed every 5 years for the following Constituents of Concern <br /> (CDCs): <br /> • Total Organic Carbon <br /> • Inorganics (dissolved) <br /> • VOCs (extended list) <br /> • Semivolatile Organic Compounds <br /> • Chlorophenexy Herbicides <br /> • Organophosphorous Compounds <br /> Surface Water <br /> Surface water samples are collected after the first storm of the rainy season that produces <br /> significant flow and semiannually thereafter, when water is flowing, from monitoring points S-1 <br /> (upstream) and S-2 (downstream)of.the landfill (see Figure 3). <br /> Surface water samples are analyzed for the following monitoring and field parameters <br /> semiannually: <br /> • Temperature Chloride <br /> • Electrical Conductivity Sulfate <br /> • pH Nitrate-Nitrogen <br /> • Turbidity Calcium <br /> • Total Dissolved Solids 0 Magnesium <br /> • Carbonate Alkalinity 0 Sodium <br /> • Bicarbonate Alkalinity 0 Potassium <br /> • Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) <br /> t <br /> " Foothill Sanitary Landfill 2 Department of Public Works/Solid Waste <br /> 2NO Semester/Annual 2003 Groundwater Monitoring County of San Joaquin-January 30,2004 <br />
