SECTION 10 SPECIAL ' 10-1.02 STAKING.--Stakin shall conform to the provisions of Section 9 5-1.07, "Lines and Grades," of the Standard Specifications and these special ' provisions, and to Section 01055 of the Technical Specifications. A. Control Stakes and Field Adjustments: The Count has staked the location of LFG migration monitoring wells, walkgates, and Y g g ' drive gates at both sites as shown on the construction drawings. The Contractor shall install LFG monitoring wells, walk gates and drive gates at the staked locations. The Engineer may adjust the location of LFG monitoring wells due to site conditions. 10-1.03 PROGRESS SCHEDULE.--Attention is directed to Section 8-1.04, "Progress Schedule," of the Standard Specifications and these special provisions. The Progress Schedule shall include, at a minimum, the following items: a. Number and description of drill rigs for the project ' b. Method of drilling and installation of LFG migration monitoring wells ' 10-1.04. Not Used 10-1.05 FORCE ACCOUNT.--Attention is directed to Sections 4-1.03, "Changes," and 9-1.03, "Force Account Payment," of the Standard Specifications and these special provisions. ' The contract item "force account" shall be restricted to work required for public convenience and minor engineering changes. ' 10-1.06 MEASUREMENT & PAYMENT.--Attention is directed to Section 9, "Measurement and Payment," of the Standard Specifications. ' (a) Amend Section 9-1.03A (3b), "Equipment not on the Work," of the Standard Specifications as follows: ' Delete paragraph 9-1.03A (3b) (5) and substitute the following- ' (5) The rental time to be paid for equipment shall be the time the equipment is in operation on the extra work. Rental rates paid shall be those listed in the current publication of the State of California Department of Transportation, entitled "Labor Surcharge and Equipment Rental Rates," at the time when extra work is performed. 1 10-5
