• Pesticides or insecticides (properly neutralized and rinsed <br />containers are allowed) <br />• Bag house or air scrubber wastes <br />• Asbestos wastes <br />• Tank cleaning sludge or sediments <br />• Contaminated soil or sand <br />• Treated Wood Waste <br />• Other materials, including Universal (electronic waste), latex paint, <br />oil, batteries, and anti -freeze are accepted at the facility, but <br />handled separately from solid municipal waste. <br />The purpose of FSL's hazardous waste exclusion program (HWEP) is to outline <br />1101 FSL's approach regarding prohibited waste at the facility with the following <br />measures: <br />1. Determent of prohibited waste from the facility <br />2. Detection of prohibited waste at the facility <br />3. Response to detected prohibited waste at the facility <br />Creating full awareness about prohibited waste at FSL is one of the best and <br />easy methods of deterring probhited waste from the site. Customers who are <br />fully aware of the prohibited waste and its liabilities tend not to bring prohibited <br />waste to the site in the first place. This method is the first line of defense to <br />combat disposal of prohibited waste at FSL.
