s` diesel fuels may be present during the refueling. The diesel
storage tank has secondary containment provision and is sealed to
F ,
the weather and should not be considered a source of potential
pollution.
r-
* The landfill area -- Only biodegradable materials are allowed, and
recyclable materials are transferred out. A six inch soil cover,
and watering on refuse for vector and dust control is required by
the site's operating permit. The site is inspected daily for
leachate leaks, and corrective actions are taken if leachate
escape is detected.
3.2 ESTIMATE QUANTITIES OF POTENTIAL POLLUTANTS IN STORM WATER DISCHARGES
The estimation of potential pollutant materials that could come in contact
with storm water runoff reaching Potter Creek is very minimal. The landfill's
precipitation and drainage control systems are designed and constructed to
accommodate the anticipated volume of precipitation and peak flows from
7'0
surface runoff under 100 -year, 24-hour precipitation conditions. See Appendix
A for Waste Discharge Requirements Order No. 91-020.
4.0 STORM WATER MANAGEMENT CONTROLS: SWPPP COMPLIANCES
This section discusses the storm water management controls and those necessary
for compliance with the SWPPP.
4.1 SWPPP PERSONNEL
The personnel responsible for storm water pollution prevention are indicated
in the following.
•
