The diesel <br />storage tank has secondary containment provision and is sealed to <br />F , <br />the weather and should not be considered a source of potential <br />pollution. <br />r- <br />* The landfill area -- Only biodegradable materials are allowed, and <br />recyclable materials are transferred out. A six inch soil cover, <br />and watering on refuse for vector and dust control is required by <br />the site's operating permit. The site is inspected daily for <br />leachate leaks, and corrective actions are taken if leachate <br />escape is detected. <br />3.2 ESTIMATE QUANTITIES OF POTENTIAL POLLUTANTS IN STORM WATER DISCHARGES <br />The estimation of potential pollutant materials that could come in contact <br />with storm water runoff reaching Potter Creek is very minimal. The landfill's <br />precipitation and drainage control systems are designed and constructed to <br />accommodate the anticipated volume of precipitation and peak flows from <br />7'0 <br />surface runoff under 100 -year, 24-hour precipitation conditions. See Appendix <br />A for Waste Discharge Requirements Order No. 91-020. <br />4.0 STORM WATER MANAGEMENT CONTROLS: SWPPP COMPLIANCES <br />This section discusses the storm water management controls and those necessary <br />for compliance with the SWPPP. <br />4.1 SWPPP PERSONNEL <br />The personnel responsible for storm water pollution prevention are indicated <br />in the following. <br />• <br />
