209 887- <br />Site Superintendent: Jesse Padilla, Foothill Landfill Inc., () <br />3066. The Site Superintendent's activities include daily operations, <br />implementing the SWPPP, and employee training. <br />Facility Engineer: Gabriel Karam, Solid Waste Division, (209) 468-3066. <br />s The Facility Engineer's activities include maintaining records of <br />inspections, materials handling, significant hazardous waste spill <br />response, and site engineering design. <br />Environmental Administrative Engineer: Francis Lau, Public Facilities <br />Division, (209) 468-3086. The Environmental Administrative Engineer's <br />activities include developing, and revising the SWPPP as needed. <br />4.2 PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE AND GOOD HOUSEKEEPING <br />The conveyance storm systems (berms and ditches) are to be inspected monthly <br />by the site superintendent during the dry season and weekly during the rainy <br />season. Any obstructions, damaged control systems, or debris observed during <br />inspection are to be removed promptly. spilled or leaked materials that could <br />be transported by storm water are also removed, and the source of the spill or <br />leak is to be eliminated. Equipment maintenance schedules shall be designed to <br />ensure that site -associated equipment is operating correctly, minimizing <br />potential spills, leaks and upset locations. Additional maintenance is <br />conducted as needed when equipment malfunctions are observed. Vehicle fueling <br />is performed at the fueling tanks near the maintenance building. General <br />housekeeping and cleaning activities are performed daily. Any non recyclable <br />papers, bags, and small plastic container or materials are picked up by the <br />end of the day. Litter net fences are kept around the working landfill area <br />and landfill perimeter. <br />• <br />
