G. waste Diverted in San Joaquin County: <br /> In addition to waste diversion programs operating at landfill <br /> sites, numerous private entities, such as waste haulers and <br /> recyclers, operate diversion programs as well. Quarterly and <br /> annual diversion information is requested from these companies in <br /> San Joaquin County. They are asked to report the type of material <br /> diverted, tonnage and which jurisdiction the material came from. <br /> Due to reporting limitations, these reports do not account for all <br /> diversion activities taking place in San Joaquin County, but are a <br /> measure of a large portion of existing diversion activity. Thus, <br /> actual waste diversion tonnages may vary significantly from those <br /> reported below.
