The operations layer <br /> material was taken from the on site stockpile. Minor work continued in the leachate pond cleaning the sump <br /> rock out and placing the gravel log along the south and west perimeters. In the afternoon,the leachate pond <br /> ladders were placed in the north, west and south slopes and the anchor trenches backfilled. The southeast <br /> comer of the pond remains open for work on the pipe relocation. <br /> GSE completed the extrusion welding on the remaining seams around the cell sump in the morning. One <br /> (1)panel of GCL and one panel of 60 mil HDPE were deployed and seamed on the south cell slope over the <br /> sump pipe. The double layer of geotextile began to be deployed in the cell sump in the late afternoon and by <br /> early evening was completed. <br /> The last of the samples of granular drainage material was obtained for a sieve analysis and constant head <br /> perm. <br /> A brief meeting was held at the end of the day with Curtis,Ayre and I to discuss the work schedule for <br /> tomorrow, depending on site weather conditions. <br /> Prepared By: Reviewed By: <br /> 4/23/03,Rev. 0 1 of 1 <br /> r.? <br />
