A complete report of the
procedure and findings of the leak location surveys are included in Appendix J.
5.4 Geotextile
5.4.1 General
An 8-oz/yd2 geotextile was used as a separation layer between the LCRS granular
drainage material and the operations layer. A 12-oz/yd2 geotextile was used as a
cushion layer on the floor to the module between the geomembrane and LCRS granular
drainage material. A 16-oz/yd2 geotextile was used in the LCRS trenches to
encapsulate the gravel fill and HDPE piping.
5.4.2 Receiving Inspection
Upon arrival by truck shipment, Vector's CQA Monitor observed the unloading and
storage of the geotextile rolls. Each roll of geotextile was logged in by roll number and
was crosschecked against the quality control documents provided by the Contractor
submittal. Following inspection and approval the material was approved for installation.
A copy of the log of geotextile received and manufacturer's QC data are included in
Appendix K.
5.4.3 Deployment
The panel deployment procedure was observed and documented by Vector's CQA
Monitor.
