WMU FU-03,WMU F-West Leachate Impoundment and Desilting Basin February 2004 <br /> Forward Landfill Job No.021605.03 <br /> 6.0 POLYETHYLENE PIPE AND FITTINGS <br /> 6.1 Receiving Inspection <br /> Upon arrival by truck shipment, Vector's CQA Monitor performed the receiving <br /> inspection of the HDPE piping, which consisted of: <br /> • verify that the pipe is the proper size and dimensions, <br /> • visually inspect the pipe for any damage that may have occurred during <br /> transportation and handling, <br /> • verify and document that storage of the pipe was in accordance with the project <br /> specifications, and <br /> • documentation required by the specifications was received. <br /> Documentation for the HDPE pipe is included in Appendix N. <br /> 6.2 Installation <br /> Vector's CQA Monitor observed that the pipe was installed at the locations specified in <br /> the construction drawings, and no damage occurred during the placement and backfill <br /> around and over the pipe.
