Guinn <br />Construction continued removing topsoil from the area north of the North Fork of South Little John's Creek <br />and stockpiling it to the east of the cut area with two scrapers. Fill began to be placed on the west toe of <br />slope working northward to the northwest comer. The dozer, one water truck and sheepsfoot also worked <br />there. <br />The project manager was verbally informed that on site laboratory equipment was required as fill <br />operations began. After reviewing the CQA plan and the earthworks section of the closure plan, a <br />discrepancy was discovered between them. One plan states that the optimum moisture content should be <br />from —3 to +1 and the other states that it should be —2 to +2.
