Submitted to: Scott Purdy (GLA) Project #: 2013-AO55 Report No.: 054 Report Date: Thursday July 26, 2013 Onsite: 06:00 - 16:30 Hrs Weather: AM: 61°F Clear PM: 97°F Clear Guinn Construction Activities: • The Contractor completed placement of the coarse gravel in the east LCRS trench and in the sumps. • The Contractor continued placement of the granular drainage gravel in the south half the Cell floor. The Contractor used a wide track LGP D6R Cat Dozer equipped with GPS to spread the granular drainage gravel in a continuous 12 -inch lift. The Drainage gravel was transferred from the quarry with twenty (20) belly • dump trucks. The Contractor continued using mobile unloading equipment to transfer the drainage material on to the lined area of the floor. • The Contractor started placement of the filter fabric over the completed granular drainage layer in the south half of the Cell floor. The Contractor installed the filter 8 -oz geotextile over the completed section of the granular drainage layer. The filter geotextile panels were deployed from west to east with a minimum of 12 - inch overlap. • The Contractor started placement of the 12 -inch operations soil layer over the completed filter fabric layer. The Contractor used a 760 Cat and a D6 Cat dozer equipped with GPS to transfer and spread the soil material at the required thickness. Personnel: (4) Operators, (1) Supervisor, (1) Grade checker, (2) Laborers. Equipment: (1) Water truck, (2) 637 Cat Scrapers, (1) D6N Cat Dozer, (1) D6R LGP Cat Dozer, (1) 966 Cat Loader, (1) 14H Cat Motor grader, (1) Cat Fork Lift, (1) Unloader Conveyor, (20) Belly dump trucks, (1) Generator, (2) Leister Heat Guns. CQA (GLA) Activities: Field Personnel (1) • CQA personnel performed continuous monitoring of all construction activities insuring conformance with the project specifications.
