- Guinn backfilled'the east end portion of the anchor trench on 4:1 slope. <br />- Guinn installed the leachate tanks. <br />Comanco completed installation of the cushion geotextile on July 23rd and <br />demobilized on same day. <br />3. Projected schedule: <br />- Guinn will place granular drainage material on the north half of the cell floor and <br />then place the 8 -oz filter geotextile over the drainage material. <br />- Guinn will place operations soil over the filter geotextile to be completed by <br />August Stn <br />- Dipole leak location testing to begin on August 6th <br />- Project completion is estimated to be August 19th <br />4. Field observations, problems, conflicts, and changes: <br />-Guinn pointed out that the leachate tanks received from the manufacturer had <br />the pipe stubs located too high on the tanks. Guinn will contact the manufacturer <br />and have them place new stub outs at the correct elevation on the tanks. <br />(7/30/13 meeting) - stub out were corrected and tank was installed <br />5. Issues which impede the construction schedule and corrective measures: <br />- None <br />6. Review of submittals and RFI's: <br />- No submittals or RFI's are outstanding. <br />7. Review of CQA activities: <br />- GLA is observing Guinn's construction activities. <br />GLA is conducting conformance testing on the drainage rock and observing <br />placement. <br />-GLA is observing placement of the filter geotextile. <br />-GLA is observing the placement of the operations layer. <br />8. Health and safety/Environmental issues: <br />- Guinn/GLA/Republic reported no health and safety issues for the week. <br />- Guinn will continue to provide copies of the weekly tailgate safety meetings to <br />the Forward front office who will make copies and email to Lochlin. <br />- Republic provided copies of the previous health and safety meetings to GLA. <br />Copies have been attached to these meeting minutes. 40 <br />Forward Landfill WMU FU -13 <br />Progress Meeting Minutes Page 2 <br />
