SECTION 10 SPECIAL When hourly rates are listed, less than 30 minutes of operation shall be considered to be 1/2 hour of operation. rWhen daily rates are listed, payment for 1/2 day will be made if the equipment is not used. If the equipment is used, payment will be made for the day. 10-1.06 OBSTRUCTIONS.--Attention is directed to Section 8-1.10 "Utility and Non-Highway Facilities," and 15, "Existing Highway Facilities," of the Standard Specifications and these special provisions. ' The Contractor shall notify Underground Service Alert (USA) (PH: 1-800-227-2600) at least two (2) working days prior to drilling. The Contractor shall verify overhead power line clearances for drill rigs access near well drilling locations at both sites. 10-1.07 DOCUMENTS ON SITE. -- The Contractor shall maintain a complete set of contract documents on site. Contract documents include the Contract, Addenda, Plans and Specifications. Subcontractor crews shall be in possession of contract documents relevant to their work, and shall produce such documents when requested by the Engineer. Failure of the subcontractor crews to produce contract documents will be justification for the Engineer to direct the cessation of work by the Contractor's crew at the Engineer's discretion. The cost for such cessation shall be born by the Contractor. Working days will not be suspended in the case of cessation due to lack of contract documents. 10-1.08 MEASUREMENT.—Separate measurement for payment will not be made for work or materials specified in this Section. 10-1.09 PAYMENT.--Separate payment will not be made for work or materials specified in this Section 10. Full compensation shall be considered as included in the prices paid for the various contract items of work of this project, and no additional compensation will be allowed or paid.
