Such work will <br /> be accepted after inspection by the Engineer, and shall be completed within the <br /> working days allowed: <br /> ' 1 Well enclosures, including concrete base <br /> 2 Fencing work <br /> 3 Installation of cow barriers or bollards <br /> ' 4 Removal and disposal of spoils from specified well locations <br /> 3.03 SUBMITTALS FOR REPORTS <br /> A. The Contractor shall provide proof of C-57 license to the Engineer five working <br /> days after award of contract. <br /> B. The Contractor shall provide copies of all signed EHD's well completion permits to <br /> the Engineer at the end of the contract. <br /> C. The Contractor shall complete and certify State of California Department of Water <br /> Resources (DWR), Well Completion Report for each soil gas well at both sites per <br /> ' California Water Code. An electronic copy of the report is available from DWR's <br /> website. Information needed to complete the Geologic Log section of the well <br /> report will be provided by the Engineer. Completed and certified reports must be <br /> ' submitted to the Engineer two (2) workings days after installation of wells at each <br /> site. The completed reports shall be legible. <br /> 3.04 DRILLING <br /> A. Per Section 10-1.06, the Contractor shall provide the Engineer the USA ticket <br /> number and its expiration date before drilling at each site. <br /> B. Contractor shall drill soil gas well borings at the staked locations per Section <br /> 10-1.02. The Contractor shall verify the well boring locations with the Engineer if <br /> any well boring stakes are missing or have been destroyed by livestock. <br /> C. Drilling of the wells shall be in the presence of the Engineer. <br /> D. Contractor shall select drilling methods. Boring logs of previously installed soil gas <br /> wells and groundwater wells of each site is provided as supplemental information. <br /> E. Approximation of shallow well depths to the specified well depth will not be <br /> accepted by the County. The County will not compensate for borings drilled <br /> deeper by the Contractor unless authorized by the Engineer. <br /> F. Coordinate drilling with the Engineer to maintain a detailed written log showing the <br /> materials encountered at each depth, depth of each boring drilled, and the time <br /> required for drilling. Borings will be logged during the entire drilling session by the <br /> Engineer. The Engineer will specify the sampling depths. <br />
