TV <br /> MADUENANCE PROGRAM <br /> A. FA CH= MAHiTENANCE PROGRAM <br /> The MRF/Transfer Station and Composting Facility will be maintained to provide a clean and <br /> safe site for the public and employees. All equipment will be inspected and maintained in <br /> accordance with manufacturer recommendations. Operators and supervisors will monitor the <br /> operation of equipment and if any problems are identified or suspected the equipment will be <br /> reported to the maintenance shop manager or mechanic for repair. Equipment requiring repairs <br /> will not be used until repairs are completed. A maintenance program for the equipment and the <br /> site will be established prior to start of operation. This program will include, but is not limited <br /> to the following: <br /> 0 Training all mechanics and maintenance personnel in the maintenance of the type of <br /> equipment to be utilized. <br /> 0 Lubrication schedule for all equipment. <br /> 0 Equipment service and replacement program based on length and type of operation <br /> including keeping records of fuel consumption, servicing and hours of operation. <br /> 0 Schedule of site and building maintenance such as sweeping, washdown, painting and <br /> general every day housekeeping. <br /> 0 Schedule for inspecting drainage and sanitary waste disposal systems to ensure systems <br /> are functioning properly as intended. <br /> 0 Proper maintenance of access roads and paved areas including a program for cleaning <br /> and washdown. <br /> 9 Landscape maintenance schedule. <br /> 0 Establish a litter pick-up program for the removal of on and off-site litter. <br /> L:IPROJECr/397/NW/RCI-4.TCY December 15,1993 <br /> 35 <br />
