<br />6. Test samples, may be selected by the Engineer from the materials or equipment
<br />delivered by the Contractor to the Site for use in the Work. If any test sample
<br />fails to meet the Specification requirements, such materials or equipment that
<br />fail the testing shall be removed and replaced by the Contractor with materials
<br />or equipment meeting the Specification requirements.
<br />7. Field samples shall be prepared at the site by the Contractor in the manner and
<br />number as specified in these Specifications. Affected finish work shall not be
<br />commenced until the Engineer has accepted the field samples, in writing.
<br />D. Product Data: Each copy shall be marked to identify applicable products, models,
<br />options, and other data; manufacturers' standard data shall be supplemented to
<br />' provide information unique to the work.
<br />E. Manufacturers' Instructions: When required by the manufacturer's warranty
<br />requirements, the Contractor shall submit manufacturer's printed instructions for
<br />delivery, storage, shelf life, assembly, installation, adjusting, and finishing.
<br />F. Design Calculations and Design Drawings:
<br />1. Design Calculations: When specified in the Specifications or the Construction
<br />Drawings, design calculations shall be submitted to the Engineer for review
<br />with all pertinent data, assumptions, objectives, criteria, applicable codes,
<br />standards and references. The calculations shall be on 8-1/2 by 11 -inch or 11
<br />by 17 -inch sheets. Each design calculation set shall bear page numbers, titles,

<br />will review the samples for visual aspects such as kind, color, pattern, and
<br />texture, and will accept or ask for resubmittal of samples. Acceptance will be
<br />given by the Engineer in writing.
<br />3. After the Engineer has performed his review and analysis of samples, two (2)
<br />samples will be retained and the remaining sample will be returned to the
<br />Contractor, with the Engineer's comments.
<br />4. Samples shall be submitted and resubmitted until accepted as satisfactory.
<br />Each change in manufacturing process or batch shall require submittal of
<br />samples for acceptance. Acceptance of a sample shall not be taken in itself to
<br />change or modify any Contract requirement. All materials, color, pattern and
<br />texture used for construction shall be equal in every respect to that of the
<br />approved samples.

<br />trade name, lot, style, model, location of use, and Contract Document
<br />reference, as well as the names of the Contractor, Supplier, Project, and
