Performed all facets of project development, <br /> including engineenng design and review, field engineering, serving as <br /> regulatory agencies' liaison, and contracting to consulting firms. As the <br /> division engineer, was responsible for all engineering on the county 350 <br /> tons per day Class III landfill and 300 tons per day transfer station. Also <br /> performed engineering for a city/county jointly owned Class II-2 landfill <br /> and a privately owned Class III landfill with which the county had <br /> operating agreements. <br /> 1984 Junior Civil Engineer, R.B. Welty&Associates, Modesto, California <br /> Performed design calculations, made field observations, and drafted plans <br /> for civil engineering and construction projects, including dams, bridges, <br /> and subdivisions. <br /> 1983 - 1984 Civil Engineer GS-5, Sharpe Army Depot, Facilities Engineering Division, <br /> Lathrop, California <br /> Worked on facilities engineering projects preparing plans and <br /> specifications, reviewing consulting architectural/engineering projects, <br /> coordinating construction projects with other divisions, and performing <br /> construction inspections. <br /> Professional Affiliations <br /> Member Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) <br /> Secretary, SWANA California Chapters Legislative Subcommittee <br /> Member of the American Public Works Association <br /> Selected Project Experience <br /> o Proposed Ash Disposal Landfill, Sutter County, California <br /> As project manager and engineer, prepared a preliminary feasibility study, <br /> Preliminary Design Report, and Land Use Application Permit for development of an <br /> E21398(08/91) 2 <br />
