• CRT devices will be stacked on pallets and shrink-wrapped. <br />Broken CRT's will be packaged in cubic yard boxes. <br />• Stackable electronic devices (microwaves, VCR's, etc.) will <br />be palletized and shrink-wrapped. Non -stackable electronic <br />devices (telephones, cell phones, answering machines) will <br />be placed in cubic yard boxes. <br />• Mercury lamps will be placed in appropriate size boxes, <br />neatly stacked to prevent breakage. Broken lamps will be <br />placed in a 5 gallon bucket. <br />• Batteries will be sorted by type and placed in drums or 5 <br />gallon buckets <br />• Mercury devices (thermometers, thermostats) will be placed <br />in 5 gallon buckets. <br />All containers of Universal Wastes from collection events or <br />loadcheck acceptance will be appropriately labeled with the generator <br />name and information, the proper Universal Waste shipping name, and <br />the accumulation date. <br />All Universal Wastes will be shipped to an approved recycling facility. <br />The current Universal Waste contractor for recycling and collection <br />events is Onsite Electronics Recycling. In the event that <br />GVVVSMRF CVWS changes/adds a Universal Waste contractor, <br />the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department will be <br />notified within 30 days. <br />The CVVVSMRF CVWS w4also arn�manages Treated Wood <br />Wastes (TWW) received via loadcheck activities which are subject to <br />the DTSC alternative management standards Currently the facility <br />does not accept directly from the public but may choose to do so in the <br />future. WheR those rem dations hennme effeGtivo TWW management <br />will meet the following requirements. <br />• Obtaining an identification number if more than 10,000 pounds <br />of TWW is generated. <br />• Maintaining records of shipments of TWW and reporting in <br />compliance with 22 CCR 67386.8. <br />• Labeling TWW in compliance with 22 CCR 67386.5. <br />• Storing TWW in compliance with 22 CCR 67386.6. <br />• Training of employees handling TWW in compliance with 22 <br />CCR 67386.12 and/or of employees performing re -sizing of <br />Central Valley Waste Services-WRF-4S 3-11 <br />Transfer iProcessing Report <br />Section 3 — 311&134/24/17 <br />
