KLE1NF-,FL0ER
Bright People.Fight Solutions.
Monitoring: The City of Stockton Public Works Department will be responsible for
oversight, review and approval of truck turning safety measures and a truck
queuing plan, if required.
Parking Impacts
The proposed project would involve the redevelopment and reorganization of existing
storage and parking uses on the portion of the project site located south of Weber
Avenue. As a part of this element of the project, 45 parking spaces will be provided for
ESRTS employees, and additional spaces will be provided in the northern portion of the
site. Employee parking needs are presently met on-street. This would be a beneficial
effect of the project.
In comments on the project, City staff have recommended that on-street parking be
restricted along both sides of Weber Avenue in order to better accommodate anticipated
increases in truck traffic and larger-truck turning movements. This would adversely
affect the availability of parking; however, ESRTS generates the only substantial
demand for parking along Weber Avenue, and the proposed provision of employee
parking in the southern portion of the project site would offset this loss. As a result, the
net effect of the project on parking availability would be less than significant.
Level of Significance: Less than significant
Mitigation Measures: None required
Potentially Less Than Less Than No
16.UTILITIES SERVICE SYSTEMS — Significant Significant Significant Impact
Impact With Impact
Mitigation
Would the project: Incorporation
a.
