KLE/MFEL®ER
Bright People.Right Solutiom
Environmental Impacts
Sewer Services
The City of Stockton currently provides sewage treatment and collection services to the
project area. The existing 6-inch public sanitary sewer line in F Street will be
abandoned along with the proposed abandonment of F Street. The line in F Street will
be on private property and included in on site planning of the project.
The proposed project would involve an increase in sewage generation at the site. The
ODS shall submit sewer background documentation along with calculations and a
Waste Discharge Permit, if needed, to the Municipal Utilities Department as required by
the mitigation below. The project site is currently designated for industrial use and has
been subject to such uses in the past. The existing lines serving the site are sized to
handle potential industrial development of the area.
Level of Significance: Potentially significant
Mitigation Measures:
1. The ODS shall submit sewer background documentation along with
calculations to the Municipal Utilities Department in conjunction with building
permit applications. A Waste Discharge Permit will also be obtained, if
required.
Significance after Mitigation: Less than significant.
Implementation: The ODS will be responsible to provide sewer background
documentation and calculations to the Municipal Utilities Department. If a Waste
Discharge Permit is required, the ODS shall make application for such Permit to
the Municipal Utilities Department.
Monitoring: The Municipal Utilities Department will be responsible for review and
approval of documentation and calculations.
Water Services
Water service in the project area is provided by CalWater. CalWater has indicated that
sufficient water supplies are available to serve the project. Existing water lines in the
area have been sized to adequately serve the project; and no significant impacts on
water services are anticipated.
Level of Significance: Less than significant
121339/ST011 R226 3-64 October 14, 2011
Copyright 2011 Kleinfelder
