Bright People.Right Solutions.
A Waste Discharge Permit may be required for the expanded facility. This
permit will account for and govern discharges to the sanitary sewer system,
including washdown and other fluid wastes that cannot be discharged to the
storm drainage system.
2.4.2 Site Expansion
The existing ESRTS site of 4.96 acres would be expanded by 1.77 acres to a
total of 6.28 acres. This is the result of the applicant's purchase of APNs 153-
180-05, 06, 08 and 55, a total of 1.47 acres, and the proposed abandonment of
the section of F Street between Weber Avenue and the Stockton Terminal and
Eastern Railroad (ST&E), which comprises 0.30 acres; the street right-of-way
would be incorporated into the project site upon approval of the abandonment.
2. .3 Recycled Material Quantities
The ESRTS facility would accommodate an average of 1,000 TPD of waste
material, an average of 7,000 tons per week. A maximum of 1,250 TPD could
be accommodated in any single day; the proposed maximum of 1,250 TPD is
expected to occur on fewer than 10 days per year. Existing and proposed waste
processing quantities are shown in Table 2-1.
Table 2-1
Daily Tonnage Comparison
ESTRS SRTS
Material T e Current Proposed Proposed Max Current Proposed
Yp Tonnage Average TPD* TPD* Tonnage Tonnage
Residential single stream - 100 125 49 -
Commercial single stream - 100 125 50 -
Transferred single stream - 200 250 100 -
Glass from MRF processors - 320 400 160 -
Source separated OCC - 120' 150 60 -
C&D,commercial 512' 120 150 60 -
C&D,self haul - 4050 20 -
Self haul CRV 1
Total Incoming 512 1,000' 1,250 500 -
*The values shown are averages.
