KL /MFEL®ER
Bright People.Right Solutions.
2.4.4 Site Improvements
The ESRTS site is proposed to be reconfigured to provide improved truck and
materials circulation, improve the overall efficiency of operations, add truck
queuing areas, and provide additional area for building construction. The
proposed entry would be relocated to near the west boundary of the expanded
site. Inbound and outbound trucks would pass through a new truck scale facility
and circulate across the abandoned section of F Street as they move between
the entry and the existing construction and demolition tipping and sorting area,
the proposed new 33,400-square foot, single-stream recyclable handling
building, and other waste handling and storage facilities in the eastern portion of
the project site. The existing entry from Weber Avenue would be gated and not
subject to regular use. The arrangement of proposed uses on the project is
shown on Figure 2-8.
Existing structures and recyclable handling areas in much of the eastern portion
of the project site would remain in their existing locations and uses; existing uses
within or near the footprint of the proposed single-stream recyclable building
would be demolished, together with the other facilities listed immediately below.
Proposed Demolition
Existing office and equipment shop
Existing truck scale
Existing 2,200 square foot building located northwest of office
Southern 1,050 square feet of existing 3,900 square foot warehouse
structure located immediately west of F Street
Existing concrete and asphalt pavement will be removed and replaced as
specified in proposed improvement plans
One on-site residences and three existing off-site residences, shown
together with their construction date below.
2391 E Weber Avenue (1996)
2374 E Weber Avenue (1952)
2376 E Weber Avenue (1946)
2392 E Weber Avenue (1951)
121339/ST011 R209 2-6 September 16,2011
Copyright 2011 Kleintelder
