BKLEUVFEL®ER
Bright People.Right Solutions.
Environmental Impacts
Biological Resources Impacts
The project would not result in impacts on wildlife resources, oak trees, wetlands,
riparian areas or known habitat areas for special-status species. The project would
involve no conflict with the SJMSCP. The proposed project would not have a significant
effect on biological resources.
Level of Significance: Less than significant
Mitigation Measures: None required
RESOURCES Potential Less Than Less Than No
5. C®,LT®, Lly Significant Significant Impact
Significa With Impact
nt Mitigation
1 Would the project: Impact Incorporation
a. Cause a substantial adverse change in the significance of a
historical resource as defined in Section 15064.5
b. Cause a substantial adverse change in the significance of an
archaeological resource pursuant to Section 15064.5?
c. Directly or indirectly destroy a unique paleontological resource or
site or unique geologic feature?
d. Disturb any human remains, including those interred outside of
formal cemeteries?
NARRATIVE DISCUSSION
Environmental Setting
The project site is located in an industrial area of west Stockton. The site has been fully
disturbed through the development of industrial uses including a salvage yard, the
existing ESRTS and a single-family residence. Historical photos show development of
two buildings in 1963 and continued growth in 1970. An "abandoned Southern Pacific
Railroad" (CA-SJO-250-H), has been recorded immediately adjacent to the north side of
1 the project site and was previously determined ineligible for listing on the National
Register of Historic Places.. An Archaeological Record Search/Sensitivity Analysis was
conducted by Genesis Society, dated August 24, 2011.
Existing industrial buildings to be demolished have been remodeled through the years
and are in poor condition. As a result, these structures are not of historical age or of
potential historic significance.
No prehistoric or historic-era resources have been documented within, adjacent to or
near the project site.
121339/ST011 R226 3-26 October 14, 2011
Copyright 2011 Kleinfelder
