KL EINFEL®ER
Bright People.Right Solutions.
1. The ODS shall pay Public Facility Fees to defray capital facilities costs
associated with expanding law enforcement.
2. The ODS shall have the entire construction site monitored, fenced and
inaccessible to the public after hours, and on weekends and holidays until the
site is operating. The fence shall be well maintained as needed during the
project.
3. The ODS shall have the entire construction area well lighted throughout the
night, every night, during construction, so as to clearly illuminate the project
area.
4. Project landscaping along the building exterior and parking areas shall be
maintained as required to facilitate adequate visibility to support law
enforcement.
Significance After Mitigation: Less than significant
Implementation: The ODS will be responsible for payment of fees, for consultation with
fire and police agencies, and for provision of construction security.
Monitoring: The Community Development Department will verify the consultation with
fire and police agencies. The Community Development Department - Building Division
will verify that fees have been collected in conjunction with building permit issuance.
Project Effects on Schools and Other Public Facilities
The project site is located within the SUED. Development of the project site would not
generate new students or physically affect schools, as the project is a consolidation of
existing facilities rather than an expansion or construction of entirely new facilities.
Because of this no new employment would be generated, which could lead to additional
residents with additional demands for educational services (see Section 14, Population
and Housing). Therefore, the project would have no significant effect on SUED or its
facilities. Even though the project would have no significant impact on schools, the
developer would be required to contribute Public Facility Fees toward the construction
of new schools.
me reason that impacts to schools would not be significant,For the same the project would p
have no significant impacts on parks, libraries and other public facilities.
Level of Significance: No impact
Mitigation Measures: None required
121339/ST011 R226 3-56 October 14, 2011
Copyright 2011 Kleinfelder
