Adjacent uses, zoning and General Plan designation: <br /> North: Land north and northwest of Independent Trucking is occupied by Saint Mary's <br /> Dining Room, which is located at 545 West Sonora Street. This facility provides meals <br /> to several hundred persons each day. North and northeast of Independent Trucking lies <br /> Mormon Slough. There is a Caltrans Landscape Maintenance building and storage yard <br /> on the north side of the slough at 312 South Lincoln Street. Next to the Caltrans yard <br /> is a building occupied by DNT Auto Body and Paint at 366 West Lafayette Street. <br /> South: San Joaquin Lumber Company occupies the block southeast of Independent <br /> Trucking, at 235 West Scotts Ave. Stockton Door Company is located at 433 West <br /> Scotts Ave along with seven residences. The two blocks directly south of Independent <br /> Trucking are occupied by an auto body business at 555 West Hazelton and the residential <br /> dwellings mentioned above. "Centro Social, Mexican De Stockton" a day-use <br /> community center, is located south of Hazelton Ave at 609 South Lincoln Street on the <br /> northern one-half of the block with the residences mentioned above on the southern one- <br /> half of the block. Mikes Auto Repair is located at 436 West Scotts Ave. E.F Mitchell <br /> Concrete Inc. has a truck shop on Harrison Street and a building owned by Industrial <br /> Maintenance Inc. is on the southwest corner of Scotts and Harrison Streets. <br /> There is a residential dwelling at 533 West Church Street which is surrounded on three <br /> sides by Independent Trucking. <br /> East: E. F. Mitchell Concrete Inc. occupies the entire block directly across Lincoln <br /> Street from Independent Trucking, at 400 South Lincoln Street. <br /> West: The Stockton Shelter for the Homeless is located at 611 West Church Street, and <br /> shares a common boundary with Independent Trucking's Storage Yard on Harrison <br /> Street. This facility provides temporary sleeping facilities for several hundred persons. <br /> A large portion of the shelter's clients are pedestrians and many utilize the "buyback" <br /> services at Independent Trucking. California Water Service Company owns the fenced <br /> parcel at the southwest corner of Church Street and Harrison Street. This parcel borders <br /> Independent Trucking's Storage Yard on Harrison Street. <br /> 4. Is the site adequately served by the following utilities?
