CAC SECTION OBSERVATIONS RESULT
STATION EQUIPMENT
17546 General Transfer vehicles - Eight transfer C
trucks are owned by the county and
used at this station. Five were in
operation the day of this inspection.
The trailers have a 100 yard capacity
and are made of a light, easily
cleanable material. All the transfer
trailers have automatically closing
screen covers.
The California Highway Patrol conducts
monthly inspections on transfer
vehicles. Drivers conduct daily
inspections. The county heavy
equipment shop and private contractors
do the regular maintenance and
repairs.
Station Equipment - A John Deere 544C
and a John Deer 644C were the only
loading equipment used at this
facility. The 644C is considered the
primary equipment and the 544C is
backup.
The station handles an average of 1812
cubic yards of waste per day. The
equipment was proper for operating a
station of this size.
Page No. 8 of 10
Inspector .:.—
