CAC SECTION OBSERVATIONS RESULT <br /> 17547 Standby Transfer vehicles - the county owns C <br /> Equipment eight transfer vehicles. The station <br /> supervisor, Kenneth Belcher, advised <br /> me this allows two vehicles to be in <br /> service and repair, and six to be in <br /> operation. Six transfer vehicles were <br /> capable of operating station of this <br /> site. <br /> Station equipment - one tractor is <br /> kept on site as a back up. If both <br /> tractors ceased to operate there is a <br /> 48 hour repair or replace arrangement. <br /> There is also backup equipment <br /> available from the county heavy <br /> equipment shop. <br /> 17548 Transfer All the trailers had automatically- C <br /> Vehicles operated closing cover screens. I <br /> observed that the screens were closed <br /> on every vehicle before it left the <br /> station. <br /> 17549 Equipment All equipment was available for C <br /> Inspection inspection. <br /> 17550 Housekeeping The station was completely screened. C <br /> Only necessary fuel and oil drums were <br /> kept on site. All maintenance related <br /> materials is kept at the county <br /> equipment yard. <br /> STATION MAINTENANCE <br /> 17556 General I did not 'observe any adverse C <br /> 'conditions which were likely to result <br /> from improper preventative maintenance <br /> procedures. The station was well <br /> maintained. <br /> 17557 Station This facility had a rigorous litter C <br /> Maintenance pickup and cleaning program. Roads, <br /> Program fences and screens were repaired <br /> regularly. I did not observe any <br /> conditions that would indicate the <br /> operator did not promptly repair or <br /> correct deteriorated conditions. <br /> Inspector---�N Li <br /> Page No. 9 of 10 <br />
