CAC SECTION OBSERVATIONS RESULT <br /> SPECIAL WASTES AT TRANSFER/PROCESSING <br /> STATIONS. <br /> 17561 Burning Wastes I did not observe Burning waste at C <br /> this section. <br /> 17562 Hazardous Y did not observe hazardous waste C <br /> Wastes received at this station. A used oil <br /> recycling program was conducted on <br /> site. Drums were provided for the <br /> public to put oil in. Paper towels <br /> were provided so that users could wipe <br /> up any spills. I did not see any <br /> spilled oil. The drums were placed on <br /> paved area and isolated from station <br /> activity. California Oil Recyclers of <br /> San Carlos routinely hauls the oil <br /> away. (See slide 1.15) . <br /> 17563 Infectious I aid not observe infectious waste- C <br /> Wastes received at this station. <br /> 17564 Liquid Wastes I did not observe liquid waste C <br /> received at this site. <br /> NOTES 1) During parts of this inspection I <br /> was accompanied by <br /> Kenneth Belcher, Station Supervisor, <br /> San Joaquin County Public <br /> Works. <br /> 2) Inspection interviews were <br /> conducted with Jim Miller, <br /> Environmental Health Division, San <br /> Joaquin Local Health Division, <br /> and Mark Urquhart, Project Engineer, San <br /> Joaquin County Public Works. <br /> 3) 1 observed approximately one half <br /> cubic yards of dead chickens dumped at <br /> this facility. (See slide I .1 and 1. 2. <br /> The permit states the disposal of dead <br /> animals is prohibited at this station. <br /> 4) The weather was cool and clear .
