1 <br /> PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY ' <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DMSION <br /> Karen Furst, M.D., M.P.H., Health Officer c•., <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue,Third Floor• Stockton, CA 95202 <br /> 209/468-3420 <br /> March 3, 2000 <br /> FILE COPY <br /> Mr. Robert Ronyak <br /> 11402 Shelton Road <br /> Linden, California 95234 <br /> Re: F & W Cattle Company#2, Wimer Road,Linden, California <br /> Dear Mr. Ronyak: <br /> On October 21, 1999, an inspection of the above referenced premise was made with you, and <br /> representatives of the California Regional Water Quality Control Board(CRWQCB), Central <br /> Valley Region in San Joaquin County, Environmental Health Division(EHD), and the Calavares <br /> County Department of Planning and Environmental Health. This inspection was made to verify <br /> compliance with state and local laws. The following is a summary of the EHD findings and <br /> requirements concerning that portion of the site located in San Joaquin County: <br /> 1. On July 19, 1999, a"Notice to Abate" was mailed to you, directing you to cease and desist <br /> all unauthorized disposal of solid waste of the above referenced location and to remove all <br /> unauthorized solid waste within thirty(30) days of the receipt of this notice. A copy of this <br /> notice is enclosed. <br /> At the time of the October 21, 1999 inspection, it was observed that the solid waste disposal <br /> on the San Joaquin County portion of this site consisted of a birm approximately 8 feet high <br /> by 6 feet wide by 160 feet long, extending along the East side of Indian Creek. <br /> On January 31, 2000, a second re-inspection was made to confirm compliance with the order <br /> to abate this violation. It was observed that the solid waste has not been removed <br /> 2. Solid Waste Exempt Permit(Ag Waste/Feed Yard). <br /> The portion of this site which is in San Joaquin County was not in use at the time of the <br /> inspection. It the permit for this site is to be renewed for year 2000,compliance with the <br /> following provision will be required: <br /> a. Submit a copy of the Waste Management Plan required by the Water Quality Control <br /> Board to the EHD. <br /> b. Provide nitrate testing of onsite well and annually for the life of the Solid Waste Exempt <br /> Permit. <br /> A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services <br />
