Lori Duncan [EH]
From: Art Deicke [adeicke@advgeoenv.com]
Sent: Friday, March 12, 2010 7:32 AM
To: Lori Duncan [EH]
Cc: wlittle@advgeoenv.com; rmarty@advgeoenv.com; Tad Simard'
Subject: Ernie's General Store
Lori,
This week, we sent to your office the 3rd quarter 2009 Quarterly Monitoring Report. In the section
concerning the remediation system installation update, we stated we would update you weekly on the
progress of the system installation. Also, we have recommendations in the report to re-develop a
couple of the wells.
We sampled again at the site on 2-12-2010. Well MW-5, located off-site and down-gradient, had
sufficient volume (barely) for a sample. The lab results for MW-5 were ND for both MTBE and 1,2-DCA.
We will submit this report shortly.
The remediation system was delivered to our yard yesterday (3-11-10).
We have sub-contracted with Carr Electric to finish the electrical and according to their evaluation,
PG&E must evaluate the existing service and provide infrastructure upgrade. We submitted the PG&E
online work order and Carr Electric contacted PG&E, who in turn contacted me yesterday. There is an
initial engineering fee that must be paid prior to PG&E making a site visit. They have looked over the in-
house plans at their office, but need to confirm the plans with a physical inspection. According to
PG&E, the engineering contract will be delivered to AGE today or Monday. We will execute the contract
and provide the fee. They will contact us when they have completed their initial evaluation.
I will update you on the progress next week on 3-19-2010.
Thank you,
Art
Arthur Deicke
Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc.
Stockton • Santa Rosa • Monterey • Brea • Spokane
1-800-511-9300
adeicke@advgeoenv.com
advgeoenv.com
www.advgeoeliv.com
This email message is for the sole use of the intended recipient(s)and may contain confidential and privileged information.
Any unauthorized review, use, disclosure or distribution of this email/Pax is prohibited. If you are not the intended recipient,
please contact the sender by email/fax and destroy all paper and electronic copies of the original message.
3/12/2010
