(AGE) and has the following comments. <br /> The Work Plan outlines the installation, operation and maintenance of an interim soil <br /> vapor extraction (SVE) remediation system that will utilize existing onsite SVE wells <br /> MW-2, MW-4 and MW-5 to capture and destroy petroleum hydrocarbon vapors from the <br /> shallow soil. <br /> SJC/EHD approves the installation and operation of the interim SVE system as outlined in <br /> the Work Plan. Please be aware that breaking of concrete above existing UST systems <br /> and/or product lines requires that the UST system be tightness tested under SJC/EHD <br /> Unit III inspection. SJC/EHD recommends that trenching for the SVE system be routed so <br /> that it does not cross any parts of the existing UST system or lines.
