The samples will be analyzed for Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's) by EPA Method 524.2 <br /> and bacteria by Method SM 9223B. <br /> 4.0 CARBON CHANGE-OUT: <br /> A carbon change-out event will be conducted once laboratory results indicate a contaminant has <br /> been detected above laboratory reporting limits after the primary carbon vessel. Once a <br /> contaminant is detected after the primary vessel, the primary vessel will be removed from the <br /> carbon system, and the hose from the former primary vessel will be switched to the previous <br /> secondary vessel; thereby making it the new primary vessel. A new sanitized carbon vessel will <br /> be inserted into the carbon system in the secondary position. This method of carbon change-out <br /> will not require a change in flow direction through any part of the system. <br /> 5.0 CARBON DISPOSAL: <br /> The carbon removed from the carbon system will be profiled and manifested for transportation <br /> back to the carbon supplier (Carbonair) for recycling and/or disposal. If laboratory results <br /> indicate a positive bacteria result, samples will be collected before and after the carbon system to <br /> determine if the carbon system is the source of the bacteria.
