SAWA QUIN <br />COU'JTY-- <br />Environmental Health Department <br />Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br />Facility Name: <br />KALENDS AUTO WRECKING <br />Facility Address: <br />8237 E HWY 26, STOCKTON <br />Date: <br />August 16, 2019 <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />(CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR - Notice to Comply) <br />Item # <br />Remarks <br />601 <br />CCR 66262.34(d) Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days. <br />-One white metal 55 gallon drum of used antifreeze was observed without an accumulation start date. The last <br />disposal record for used antifreeze was dated 7/3/2018. <br />-Two blue metal 55 gallon drums of used oil were observed without an accumulation start date. The last disposal <br />record for used oil was dated 1/15/2019. <br />-One black metal 55 gallon drum of used absorbent was observed without an accumulation start date. No disposal <br />records for used absorbent were available for review. <br />Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste <br />stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste <br />hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br />This is a repeat violation, Class 11. <br />605 <br />CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br />-One white metal 55 gallon drum of used antifreeze was observed without generator name and address, hazardous <br />properties, physical state and an accumulation start date in the hazardous waste storage area. <br />-One blue metal 55 gallon drum of used oil was observed in the hazardous waste storage area without a hazardous <br />waste label. <br />-One blue metal 55 gallon drum of used oil was observed in the hazardous waste storage area with a blank <br />hazardous waste label. <br />-One white plastic five gallon bucket of oily absorbent was observed without a hazardous waste label. <br />-One black metal 55 gallon drum of used absorbent was observed without a hazardous waste label. <br />All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br />- the words "Hazardous Waste" <br />- name and address of generator <br />- hazardous properties <br />- physical state <br />- composition (contents) <br />- accumulation start date <br />Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required <br />information and provide proof to the EHD. <br />This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br />FA0005359 PRO529505 SC001 08/16/2019 <br />EHD 22.01 Rev. 09/27/2018 Page 6 of 8 Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator OIR <br />1868 E.
