An underground gasoline storage tank cluster was present to <br /> the north of the station building, consisting of three 10,000 <br /> gallon tanks. The approximate locations of the tanks are shown <br /> on the Generalized Site Plan, (Plate P-2) . It is our <br /> T understanding that Beacon oil and the site owner propose to line <br /> the interiors of all three tanks at the site in place. <br /> �Y <br /> t _ Applied GeoSystems drilled six soil borings and installed four <br /> `rs monitoring wells on the site during this study. Soil and water <br /> = samples were collected from the wells and borings in order to <br /> evaluate levels of contamination present in native soil at the <br /> r CRI w <br /> 1' base of the backfill material and in ground water below the site. <br /> ^� FIELD WORK AND METHODS <br /> r -�f <br /> a» <br /> Applied GeoSystems personnel were present on March 9 through 12 <br /> 1987 in order to drill three soil borings and install monitoring <br /> wells in those borings.
