1988 had a static water level of 63 . 5911feet. The
Preliminary Report #38033-1, dated 8-5;88 , iindicated
groundwater contamination (TPH 4. 92 ppifi, benzene 270
ppb, toluene 49 ppb, xylene 230 ppb, and ehtyl.benzene 5 '
ppb) .
i'
In November, 1991 in response to a verbal request from
Mary Meays , EHS of the San Joaquin PHS/EHD samplings of
3
both the adjacent domestic well and MW-1 were attempted.
1
Test results from the sample of thedomestifc well
indicated that no contamination was present. A copy of
these test results from FGL Environmental were submitted
to San Joaquin PHS EHD at that time. bi jcu ties ' n
qu / fftih 1
removing the MW-1 cover and padlock which had rusted in j
..- place 'delayed=sampling` of=the oriitaririg--we'ii `tintil7-
1-13-92 when Geological Audit Services;' Inc, met Mary
Meays , EHS on site and discovered thatlthe `MW-1 was dry
at an approximate depth of 82 feet.
I'
UPDATE: I
In order to submit by 3-16-92 a Site Contamination
Workplan as requested by San Joaquin PHS/EHD we have
requested proposals from three consultants !in accordance
with the requirements of the Underground Storage Tank I
Cleanup Fund. They have been requested toi:submit
proposals for further soil/groundwater '1investigation in
order to delineate the vertical/horizontal ;extent of
soil/groundwater contamination. A minimum -of three
additional monitoring wells will be required to
determine the groundwater gradient since MW-1 is no j
longer usable. Upon receipt of these proposals, we will
review both the content of the proposals and the
qualifications of the consultants prior to submitting
the workplan.
E
=This Quarterly-Report`i.s`being' subfni`tted"td` `both the" _= -
above agencies for their review.
!j Sincerely,
. 4nathan Marlowe
arlowe Properties
}}
I
JM:ce jp
' 1
  f
