Samples PL-8 and PLr8SW were collected at depths of 5 and 3.5 feet bgs, <br /> respectively. TPHG was detected in PL-8 and PL-8SW at concentrations of 9.18 and 1.59 <br /> mg/kg, respectively. Benzene was detected in sample P1r8 at a concentration of <br /> 0.0609mg/kg"MTBE was detected in sample PLr8 at a concentration of 11.1. mg/kg. All <br /> other constituents did not exceed laboratory detection limits. <br /> t' <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> The scope of work will contain the following tasks: <br /> • Task 1 Planning and Permitting <, <br /> • Task 2 Well Installation Activities <br /> • Task 3 Laboratory Analysis of Soil and Groundwater Samples <br /> • Task 4 Report Preparation <br /> k Drilling activities will be conducted by a California licensed drilling contractor under the <br /> direction of an IT geologist. A California registered geologist will supervise the work <br /> conducted during this assessment. A discussion of activities to be conducted in each task <br /> i is presented in the following sections. Well installation methods and sampling methods <br /> I are discussed in greater detail in Appendix A and Appendix B, respectively. <br /> Task 1 Planning and Permitting <br /> Prior to implementing the monitoring well installation activities, IT will obtain drilling <br /> and well installation permits from San Joaquin';] County Public Health Services, <br /> IE` + Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD).
