28 December 2018 AdvancedGeo
AGE Project No. 18-4574 Environmental
4.1.3. Analytical Laboratory and Methodology
The collected wipe samples will be analyzed by DPH certified analytical laboratory. Wipe
samples will be analyzed for methamphetamine contamination using Liquid
Chromatography Mass Spectrometry.
4.1.4. Quality Assurance and Control
A blank wipe sample will be submitted for laboratory analysis of methamphetamine for
quality assurance and control purposes.
4.2. NUMBER OF EACH SAMPLE TYPE TO BE COLLECTED
A total of sixteen (16) discrete samples will be collected from the common rooms of the
residence. A total of six (6) composite samples will be collected from auxiliary rooms
within the residence.
Qo -e we
5.0. REMEDIATION AREAS -'fl it AA i o &
Remediation will be discussed in greater detail in the Prelimin
(PSAR) and will include a discussion of pre -remedial sampl MJ
in -lieu of sampling, in accordance with EHD requirements.
5.1. AREAS TO BE REMEDIATED IN LIEU OF SAMPLING
Based upon available information, the northwest guest bedroom is likely the location of
methamphetamine conversion. The bedroom and all accompanying equipment found in
the room will be thoroughly cleaned and/or will be disposed of in lieu of sampling.
The residence appears to be heated by a central air system. Based upon AGE's visual
inspection of the interior, the type of system (return/forced air), it is highly likely that the
entire ventilation system has been contaminated. Therefore, all ducting, vents, air filters
and fan units should be replaced in lieu of sampling.
5.1.1. RESIDENCE
The PSAR will provide remedial recommendations if the PSAWP sampling results report
contamination at or above the California State Re -Occupancy Criteria in any room of the
residence. Items to be disposed will be containerized and disposed of at an EHD
approved waste disposal facility. The PSAR will also detail the scope and methodology
of work for collection, containerization and disposal.
