Box 447 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 <br /> RE: Bi-Annual Inspection conducted at the Waste.Water Treatment Plant <br /> Mokelumne Manor—8960 Walnut Grove Rd., Thornton,CA <br /> Inspection Date: February 29, 2008 <br /> The first bi-annual inspection was conducted at the waste water treatment plant on <br /> u February 29, 2008. The waste water treatment plant currently services approximately <br /> eightyone (81), single-family unit dwellings. The plant operations and flow rates are <br /> monitored on a regular basis by staff personnel. A daily monitoring and reporting <br /> program is implemented. Flow rates are monitored and recorded daily on a reporting <br /> log. <br /> f <br /> The plant receives waste water from two separate housing communities. Mokleumne f <br /> Manor services approximately fifty (50), single-family dwellings, and Sartini services <br /> approximately thirty-one (31), single-family,dwellings. <br /> The following was observed and noted upon inspection of the facility this date: <br /> 1) Mokelumne and Sartini waste water lines are gravity flowed and terminate at a <br /> a central distribution box prior to entering the main lift station located <br /> southwest of the housing facilities. The waste water is directed through a <br /> series of valves and meter boxes and pumped into an Imhoff-Tank where <br /> further processing takes place. Upon inspection, no odors were detected at, <br /> near, and around perimeter boundries. <br /> r 2) Upon inspection the facility plant yard appeared well maintained. The gates were <br /> locked and new signs had been posted at the north, south, east and west locations <br /> to prevent unauthorized person(s) from illegal entry. No odors were detected at. .. <br /> the plant..Sorne weeds were observed and it was noted that upon conversation <br /> with the operator that the weeds would be mitigated. Continue ongoing weed <br /> r <br /> control. <br />
