I
# 3) The wood planks for the stairs have been replaced as of 2006. However, there
is a loose stair-way step located at the very top of the stairs leading to the tank
area(s)that is loose and presents a safety hazard. Correct immediately. Ensure
that the stairs and walk-ways are not slippery upon inclement weather by
installing any additional grip paper to the surface of the stairs and planks
surrounding the Imhoff-Tank. Provide appropriate safety measures on a
continuous basis.
4) The waste water is processed at the Imhoff-Tank and then transported via.
i. gravity flow to the ponds located southwest'across Interstate Highway 5.
Upon inpection, the gate allowing entry to the ponds was locked. The
ponds appeared to be maintained. No presence of gopher holes was observed.
5) All other area(s) related to the operation and maintenance of Mokelumne
Manor Sewage Treatment Plant appear to be functioning per San Joaquin
County Sewage Standards.
