The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for Yardscape Construction Inc. as of September 28 , 2020. <br /> Open violations from August 112020 inspection <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by ( date) : <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation : <br /> Violation #106 - Failed to train employees on waste handling and emergency procedures . <br /> OBSERVATION The owner, Hector Gonzalez , stated that training has not been given to his employees. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business owner must ensure that all employees are thoroughly familiar with proper <br /> waste handling and emergency procedures , relevant to their responsibilities during normal facility operations and <br /> emergencies . <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION : Immediately train the employees . Provide proof of training within 30 days to the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department ( EHD ) for employees whose responsibilities include hazardous <br /> waste . <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by ( date) . <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation : <br /> Violation #202 - Disposed or caused disposal of HW at an unauthorized point. <br /> OBSERVATION The owner, Hector Gonzalez , stated that he uses used oil from cars on his cement equipment as a <br /> releasing agent. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The disposal of any hazardous waste , or the causing thereof, is prohibited when the <br /> disposal is at a facility which does not have a permit from the department issued pursuant to this chapter, or at any <br /> point which is not authorized according to this chapter. Hazardous wastes shall be disposed of only by <br /> transportation to a permitted hazardous waste treatment, storage , and disposal facility (TSDF) or other authorized <br /> point. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately cease disposal of used oil onto the equipment and into the cement. Provide <br /> a corrective action statement to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days . <br /> Page 2 of 5 <br />
