William A Mitchell, PG <br /> Site Investigation/Confidential Client/ East Palo Alto, CA. Served as Project Manager for a multiphase <br /> subsurface soil investigation of a former lawn mower repair shop that operated an underground storage tanks. <br /> Included oversight of contractors conducting underground storage tank (UST) and fuel line removal and <br /> impacted soil removal. Installed four groundwater monitoring wells and has conducted quarterly groundwater <br /> monitoring of the facility for a wide range of petroleum and solvent impacts. <br /> Site Investigation/Confidential Client/Sacramento, CA. Served as Project Manager to investigate a car <br /> wash facility which was a former site of a gasoline station. The investigation included the drilling of several <br /> borings located in the former UST pit,the former pump islands, and the associated product line. <br /> Site Investigations/ Confidential telecommunications clients/ Northern California and Northeastern <br /> Nevada. Served as Project Manager to investigate over 100 Phase I Environmental Site Assessments of <br /> proposed/existing telecommunication (wireless) facilities throughout Northern California and Northeastern <br /> Nevada. Some of the site involved conducting soil/groundwater sampling as part of a Phase II Environmental <br /> Site Assessment. <br /> UST Abandonment/Confidential Client/Oakland,CA. Served as Project Manager to complete a complex <br /> abandonment in place for three fuel USTs located underneath a sidewalk in busy intersection in Oakland, <br /> California. Mr. Mitchell secured all permits for the client, drafted workplans that were approved by the local <br /> fire and health departments, completed soil and groundwater sampling, and prepared the closure report. <br /> Closure was obtained following issuance of the closure report. <br /> Site Investigation/Confidential Client/Sacramento, CA. Served as Project Manager to conduct a Phase <br /> I Environmental Site Assessment of a large soup manufacturing facility. The facility had been previously <br /> identified as having known soil and groundwater contamination, and extensive regulatory agency reviews <br /> were required for completing the assessment. <br /> Site Investigation and Remediation/Confidential Client/Palo Alto,CA. Supervised a geophysical survey <br /> of a former gasoline station site that was planned to be developed as an assisted living facility. Found four <br /> former USTs that were not found during previous investigations that were completed by other consultants. <br /> Supervised the removal of the USTs and monitored the removal of contaminated soil during the construction <br /> of the assisted living facility. <br /> Environmental Management/Confidential Petroleum Client/Various Sites in Northern CA. Worked <br /> with a major petroleum company on obtaining regulatory site closure of several leaking underground storage <br /> tank sites at existing and closed gasoline stations in Northern California. Work included additional site <br /> characterization activities and regular regulatory agency contacts in the management of the projects. <br /> Successfully obtained regulatory closure on several sites. <br /> 2 1 Page PARTNER <br />
