The buffer will be <br /> periodically inspected to confirm that its <br /> integrity has not been compromised during <br /> operations. An initial inspection will be <br /> scheduled with DOGGR staff prior to April 15, <br /> 2008. <br /> b) In the event that any structures will be built by <br /> the Project within the buffer zone with the <br /> potential to impact the two plugged and <br /> abandoned oil wells (API # 09261186 and API <br /> # 02935128) the Bakersfield Office of the <br /> Department of Conservation, Division of Oil, <br /> Gas, and Geothermal Resources (DOGGR) <br /> shall be contacted to inspect the wells and to <br /> recommend and approve any remediation <br /> required. <br /> Steps to Compliance: <br /> A. Part (a) of this measure will be included as a condition of approval in <br /> the CUP. The well's location and 50-foot buffer shall be noted in any <br /> project plans and maps. The project applicant shall include these <br /> requirements in project plans and specifications used by operations staff <br /> and contractors. Inspections and monitoring will be conducted by the <br /> DOGGR. <br /> B. Part (b) of this measure will be included as a condition of approval in <br /> the CUP.
